When COX-2 is blocked, it leads to the production of the hormones acetylcholine and nitric oxide, which then cause pain and swelling in the body. By inhibiting COX-2, celecoxib helps to relieve pain, reduce fever, and alleviate inflammation. Do not take Celebrex 100mg Tablet if you are allergic to Celebrex 100mg Tablet or any of its ingredients.
